Hello to the Class of 1972,

I still find it hard to believe that we will celebrate our 50^th high school reunion! I’m happy to host it in my new hometown (13 years already) of New Bern, NC during the weekend of Friday, April 29^th – Sunday, May 1^st, 2022. I hope many of you will be able to join us.

Now that the holidays are over, it’s time to get moving on the planning of this event. Below are some details that may help you plan your visit to New Bern. Hopefully, we will all stay healthy and pray that COVID will not keep us from traveling and enjoying one another’s company safely.

Where is New Bern, NC?

Located in Eastern NC, about a 6 hour drive from the DC Metropolitan area, New Bern is a quaint small town with much to offer.

Should you need to fly, Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (EWN) https://www.flyewn.com/ is located about 5 minutes outside of downtown New Bern. American Airlines is the only carrier that flies into New Bern connecting through Charlotte, NC. Another option would be to fly into Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) https://www.rdu.com/ which offers more carriers and is only about a 2 hour drive to New Bern.
