Coach Omar Wilkins has led Elizabeth Seton’s Track & Field program for 18 years, establishing a championship-caliber team and a culture of excellence, discipline, and teamwork. Under his leadership, Seton has captured 15 WCAC championships, including 11 consecutive titles, and consistently produces top performers who compete at the Penn Relays as well as at indoor and outdoor national competitions.
Many of Coach Wilkins’ student-athletes have continued their athletic journeys at the collegiate level, a testament to his commitment to developing not only elite athletes but also confident, resilient leaders. He emphasizes personal growth, academics, and character, helping every athlete thrive on and off the track.
Coach Wilkins’ impact extends beyond Seton, strengthening girls’ athletics across the WCAC and inspiring fellow coaches and student-athletes with his unwavering commitment to excellence and mentorship. Under my tutelage as assistant coach and now Head Coach, Seton’s Track & Field program has maintained its dominance by becoming one of only a handful of U.S. high school track teams to qualify for the Penn Relays’ Championships of America in the 4x100 relay.
The program has also produced 2014 and 2023 Gatorade Players of the Year and continues to set the standard within the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference with 12 consecutive WCAC championships. We look forward to the next generation of Roadrunners continuing this proud tradition of excellence.
