If an incoming student is applying for admissions into the LEAD or Pre-Law program, a mandatory entrance exam will take place in mid-January.
Students in Seton's Bayley Study Skills program receive enhanced academic support to help compensate for organizational issues or minor learning differences. Students who wish to apply to this program are asked to submit educational testing and may be required to sit for an admissions interview.
The LEAD entrance exam will cover the following basic information:
- Algebra 1
- Geometry
- Logic
- Basic Computer Knowledge
The Pre-Law entrance exam will:
- Assess reading comprehension in a multiple choice format.
- Students will also be asked to read passages and answer a few short questions using a free response format.
- Finally, students will be asked to write an essay about a topic that will be presented to them.
Students may apply for more than one program, however, if a student is accepted into both the LEAD and Pre-Law programs, they must choose one when they register in March 2021.
