Agnes M. Brown Law Academy

This multi-year program begins their freshman year with participation in Mock Trial. Courses begin their Junior year with an overview of the law and the legal profession and includes learning basic analytical writing skills. Subsequent courses stress the history of legal developments, the issues of contemporary importance, and the function of law and government in the United States.
In addition to coursework, there are internships offered to students, which include the offices of the State Attorney, public defender, county and circuit judges, and private attorneys. These experiences lend students a unique insight into the legal system.
