Seton Virtual Academics
Our Academic Promise
Seton Virtual preserves the high expectations that define a Seton education.
Students participate in live instruction, complete structured coursework, and receive consistent feedback from teachers who know them and challenge them to grow.
Learning is interactive, accountable, and intellectually demanding because excellence remains the standard.
Academic program Overview
Students follow a college-preparatory course sequence that includes core subjects such as English, mathematics, science, social studies, religion, and world languages.
Courses combine live class meetings, independent assignments, collaborative projects, and regular assessments. This structure helps students develop responsibility, time management, and confidence in their academic abilities.
Course Offerings
Course offerings grow as the program expands, beginning with foundational grade level coursework and a curated set of electives.
As Seton Virtual evolves, students will have increasing access to expanded academic opportunities, including participation in Seton's signature pre-career and internship programs, beginning in 11th grade.
Advanced Coursework
Seton Virtual students will have access to advanced academic pathways as the program grows, including honors level coursework and dual enrollment opportunities.
These pathways allow students to challenge themselves academically while remaining grounded in the Seton learning environment.

Students receive ongoing support through:
- Teacher office hours and tutoring opportunities
- Academic advising and college counseling
- Structured academic planning and goal setting
Pre-Career Pathways
When Seton Virtual students reach the 11th grade, they will have the opportunity to participate in Seton’s outstanding pre-career programs through in-person coursework.
These include:
- LEAD (Engineering)
- The Agnes Brown Pre-Law Program
- The Pharmacy Technician Program
- Young Women’s Entrepreneurship Program
These experiences help students explore their interests and begin shaping their future before graduation.
Elective Course Offerings
Seton Virtual partners with Educere to expand elective course offerings for students. Through this partnership, students may take required electives such as Physical Education, Health, Art, and World Language in a flexible online format while remaining fully part of the Seton Virtual program. Required elective courses are included in Seton Virtual tuition. Students may also choose additional Educere courses, typically ranging from $250–$500 per course, with guidance counselor approval to ensure each course supports the student’s academic plan and graduation requirements.
