and Health Sciences Program

For students driven by care, science, and a desire

to make a positive impact in their communities.

She dreams of becoming a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, physician assistant, or physical therapist. At Seton, she doesn’t have to wait for college to begin her journey. With 90% of our students aspiring to healthcare careers, the Pharmacy Technician & Health Sciences Program gives her a head start.

Led by Dr. Barbara McHenry, a licensed and practicing pharmacist, this program blends rigorous science with compassionate service. Under her guidance, students not only gain real-world skills but also explore the urgent issue of health disparities, learning how their brilliance can make healthcare more just, equitable, and effective for all communities. After more than a decade since the program began, our alumnae are serving as doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and healthcare professionals across the country—many on scholarships they earned after beginning their journey in Seton’s Pharmacy Technician Program.
