The Agnes M. Brown Law Academy empowers young women to think critically, communicate persuasively, and lead with integrity. Through rigorous coursework, hands-on experiences, and mentorship from legal professionals, students gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in law, politics, and beyond.

The Law Academy is a four-semester elective sequence beginning junior year. Students explore the foundations of law, constitutional principles, and specialized areas through case study, legal writing, and research.

| Brown's Basics Legal Training (Fall Junior Year) |

| Introduction to law, essential legal vocabulary, U.S. court systems, and dispute resolution. |
| Honor's Civil & Criminal Law (Spring Junior Year) |
| Study of torts, procedures, and the nature of crime in the U.S., plus legal writing fundamentals. |
| Honors Roots of American Liberty: Constitutional Law (Fall Senior Year) |
| Analysis of constitutional history, key clauses, and landmark amendments. |
| Law Academy Senior Capstone (Spring Senior Year) |
| Independent legal research project in an area of the student’s choice, culminating in a formal presentation to the Seton community. |
