Can We Still Find Joy?
Dear Seton Family:
There are so many reasons for Seton to still have joy. As I write this letter to you, parents are here saving a dollar at the Used Book Sale, a team of girls are here continuing their Robotics program (which they have never stopped despite the pandemic), and the maintenance team is carrying boxes of books to all classrooms (only this time with the help of the new elevator.)
We had planned to have a fantastic ending to the 60th Anniversary year with a surprise media presentation to you from the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception at the graduation of the Class of 2020, hoping that many of you would remember your own graduation. We wanted you to join us in thanking God for Seton’s academic success, for our dedicated and devoted staff, for our ambitious and articulate students, and for our never-ending proud and passionate parents.
We had also planned to wrap up our annual giving this year with our 60 for 60 Campaign: inviting our donors to give a gift of $60.00 in honor of our 60th Anniversary. We hope that this is something everyone will want to do because of their commitment to Seton. We especially hope that our alumnae participate with gratitude for their education, with gratitude for the lifelong friends they made who support them now on their journey, and with gratitude for all those who wanted the best for us when we were Seton students.
Saying YES to the 60 for 60 Campaign is not only a way of expressing gratitude, but it is an action-oriented, very real step in giving our students today the opportunities they need to be strong, confident, young women who will change the world. This is how all of us
Still Find Joy
