Seniors Earn Athletic Awards at Annual Banquet

Congratulations to the following student-athletes!

Student service award: Giovanna Lopresti

This award is presented to the student whose exemplary loyalty, dedication and service has greatly contributed to the success of the athletic department.

Unsung Hero Award: Niyette Johnson

This award is given to the athlete that displays persistent hard work and dedication day in and day out to her sport

Carlos Alexander Spirit Award: Lauren Morgan

This award is presented to an athlete who embodies the values of the late Carlos Alexander, former ESHS Track and Field Coach

Most Outstanding Athlete Award: Morgan Dukes and Jaylen Hines

This award is given to the athlete that demonstrates the highest level of skill within her sport.

Roadrunner Award: Jeyla Brown and Samantha Quander-Mosley

This award is presented to a student athlete who excels in teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership on and off the field/court/pool.

Scholar-Athlete Award: Lily Granzow

This award is given to the senior athlete with the highest GPA

Maureen Lonergan Award: Makayla Czan

This award is named after Maureen Lonergan; former Coach, Teacher and Athletic Director for whom Seton's track and field is named. It is presented to the student-athlete who embodies Maureen's spirit.

Nicole Katherine Langlois Memorial Scholarship: Gabrielle Stevenson

Nicole Katherine Langlois, class of 2008, is remembered by all those who knew her as an outstanding swimmer at Elizabeth Seton High School, After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Nicole continued to swim at the University of Maine, as well as teach swim lessons and coach young swimmers. Her joy, enthusiasm and courage were contagious. This scholarship was established by her mother and brother in her memory. Her family and friends join the Seton community in the undeniable belief that the life and passion of Nicole will continue to inspire all who come to know her through this scholarship.
