Information for Elizabeth Seton High School on School Closure
Presently, we are following the school closure plan directed by the Governor of Maryland. Thus, Seton will be closed as of Monday, March 16 for two weeks. We will not return to school until Monday, March 30th. However, please keep checking email for updates, as this will be our primary source of relaying information to our community.
The weekend activities (Father/Daughter Dance and SAT Practice Test) are still going to occur. However, please keep checking email as news is coming to us constantly.
To plan ahead, the following events have been cancelled:
Dance Championship 3/21-Cancelled
New York Theater Trip 3/24-3/25-Cancelled
Athletics-cancelled for two weeks
Sister Act Production- will potentially be re-scheduled; more information to come.
Paintpalooza – Cancelled
Currently, our St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award Night and Hall of Fame will be held as scheduled on April 7.
Continuity of Education
Beginning Monday, March 16, faculty and students are expected to follow Seton’s policy for online learning until March 20.
Beginning at 10:00 a.m., all Seton students should log in to their (e-mail, Blackbaud, Google classroom). Teachers will post all assignments for the day by 10:00 a.m. and will share with students in advance where the assignments will be posted.
Students are only expected to check (e-mail, Blackbaud, Google classroom) for the classes they would have been scheduled to attend on that particular school day.
Assignments are due as specified by the teacher
Teachers will be available to students via e-mail for questions or support until 3:00 p.m.
Assignments are designed to take approximately 20-30 minutes per subject to complete
