library closing & Computer lab:  Will open Monday, September 15, 2008 (during the 2nd cycle).  

ENGLISH CLASSES:  Ms. Powell's English classes will meet in the Computer Lab on the following days:
            September 5th (D-day) 
                  period 3, 2nd hour
                   period 4, 3rd hr (1st & 2nd lunch)
           September 9th (F-day)
                 period 7, 3rd hr (2nd & 3rd lunch)

ESSAY CONTEST:  The Council for America's First Freedom announces the 16th annual First Freedom Student Competition.  If you are interested in entering an essay contest, more information is available in guidance.  It is open to all grades.

service hours:  
(1)  Summer service hours are due Friday, September 5th.  DON'T FORGET.
(2)  The Super H 5K Run, Walk, and Wheel will be held on September 21st at Tyson's Sport and Health.  This event benefits the National Rehabilitation Hospital.  Two hours of service may be earned from advoacy walks and runs.
