School may not be in session, but the creative, fun and challenging learning opportunities continue on Seton's campus and beyond!
On campus over the last several weeks, we welcomed a number of different groups led by Seton staff and Seton Summer partners, including volleyball, basketball and an all-sports camp, as well as musical theater. Photography and band camps are underway this week and we look forward to seeing more of our talented artists, athletes and musicians at work!
Beyond our campus, Seton students in our LEAD, Agnes M. Brown Law Academy and Pharmacy Technician Program are participating in internships in their respective areas at various organizations throughout Maryland and DC with our Internship Business Partners including organizations such as Perkins Eastman, Whiting-Turner, Judge Toni Clarke (Prince George's County Circuit Court), Kim Righter (Prince George's County Office of District Public Defender), Washington Hospital Center, Southern Maryland Hospital Center and community partners CVS and Walgreens.
Finally, while we enjoy the last weeks of summer, on Wednesday, August 23rd, we look forward to welcoming our 159 new students for orientation. This exceptionally talented class includes scholars, leaders, athletes, artists, musicians and actors from public, Catholic and other independent schools from across the region. And of course, we are excited for August 25th, when the halls are filled once again with members of our entire Seton community on the first full day of classes for all students.
